SEASONAL SCENT, May: Cotton Magnolia

Cotton Magnolia’s clean, luxuriant fragrance combines budding cotton bolls with touches of cardamom, citrus, chocolate, and wood.

This month's complimentary preview tealight is of June's Waves is currently delayed due to a supply chain issue.

We thought we'd use this opportunity to let our subscribers smell Lavender + Petals, which isn't in this year's Seasonal Scent rotation, but is always available as a subscription option, whether you want to swap or add an extra candle.

May Rituals

“I always light them while reading a book, and always while I'm in the bath. I also like to light a Keap candle in my living room or near my desk when I'm working because it helps me feel more relaxed.”

Candle Burning Tips

Each time you use your candle, trim the wick to 3⁄8” (about the width of your pinky finger) before you light it. This helps ensure a smaller, safer flame and less soot.

Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges.

For safety reasons:

▶ Don’t burn your candle when less than a 1/2” of wax remains.
▶ Never leave a burning candle unattended!

Tealight Burning Tips

The tealights are indicative of what our full candles smell like, but our full candles are much more powerful. To appreciate each scent, burn the tealight nearby or in a small room—bathrooms are a great place to test.

Not feeling next month's scent? You can always swap to Wood Cabin or Lavender + Petals. Make the change directly in your account -or- email us at TheLab@KeapBK.com, and we'll make the change for you.

Some safety tips for your tealights:

▶ Don’t leave lit candles (even tealights!) burning unattended.
▶ Burn on a flat surface.
▶ Be careful as the tins can get hot!
